Midipond filters create a clean, clear and healthy environment for your fish and require minimal maintenance. They include a high performance UVC to clear green water algae. A stainless steel hydrosieve followed by graded foam filter pads remove dirt and waste. Ceramic biological filter media prevent the build up of harmful toxins. A replaceable polymer wool pad removes fine waste particles and polishes the water. A carbon impregnated pad removes chemical pollutants. The unit must be properly installed for correct operation.

Performance

The table below shows the maximum recommended volumes of different types of pond with fish for which this filter is suitable. Koi carp grow larger and produce more waste than other fish so if the pond has koi halve the recommended volumes shown.

Recommended Hose sizes

Inlet – 32mm (1.25″), multi hose connector will also accept 38 and 25mm hose.

Outlets – 38mm (1.5″) smooth bore, must be fitted for correct operation.
